This page is available so the product can explain the decision clearly. There is no upload control, no fake processing step, and no download that pretends a PDF was compressed.

pdf-lib is useful for editing and assembling PDFs, while PDF.js renders pages. Neither is a complete structural PDF compression engine.
Weburcode will not claim guaranteed PDF size reduction when common browser-only rewrites can produce larger files.
PDF compression is not a single guaranteed browser operation. Some PDFs are already optimized, some contain large images, and some contain fonts or object streams that require deeper processing than the current PDF editing utilities provide.
Weburcode is keeping the route, metadata, sitemap entry, and related links honest while compression is evaluated. The public page can be indexed because it clearly says the tool is not active yet.
